Mr. Kapolnek graduated from the DePaul University College of Law in 2017 and was admitted to the Illinois bar in April 2018. In law school, Mr. Kapolnek mentored several first-year students and participated as a fellow in the Mary and Michael Jaharis Health Law Institute. As an Institute fellow, Mr. Kapolnek authored several articles for the Institute’s monthly newsletter and twice competed in the L. Edward Bryant Jr. National Health Law Transactional Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Kapolnek graduated from the University of St. Francis in 2012 (which he completed in three and one-half years rather than the standard four), majoring in political science and minoring in history. At the University of St. Francis, Mr. Kapolnek was awarded the Meritous Service award for his fundraising activities for military veterans. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
