Areas of Concentration:
Emily Vivian is thrilled to be back with Ehrmann Gehlbach Badger Lee & Considine, LLC. After working for EGBLC for several years, Emily and her family moved south due to her husband’s career, and Emily accepted a position at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, where she served as Bureau Chief of Land Acquisition – Springfield. In that role, she represented the State of Illinois in eminent domain actions and other land acquisition matters. In addition, she negotiated and drafted contracts, for both goods and services, for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.
Upon returning to private practice, Emily again focused on estate planning and administration, real estate law and business entity formation, and she is excited for the opportunity to continue practicing in those areas.
Emily is a member of both the Real Estate Law Section Council and the Standing Committee on Government Lawyers for the Illinois State Bar Association and currently serves as co-editor of the Government Lawyers’ newsletter.
Originally from Dixon, Emily and her family have settled in Glen Carbon and have enjoyed getting to know the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon and surrounding areas. They have found the community inviting and welcoming. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, who keep her busy attending soccer, baseball and basketball games.
